Enhanced with a smoky honey butter buffalo caramel blend, it’s the perfect snack for any gathering. Preheat your smoker to 100°C (220°F) and load up with a nice rounded smoking wood like pecan, hickory or apple.
In a large baking tray, combine the pretzels, almonds, cheezelets, and cheese crackers.
In a large bowl, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the honey, honey butter buffalo sauce and brown sugar, stirring until fully dissolved and combined.
Once the mixture starts to froth up, keep stirring for another 3 minutes before sprinkling in the bicarbonate of soda. It will go crazy quickly, so work fast stirring it in.
Pour the honey butter mixture over the snack mix, stirring gently to ensure everything is evenly coated.
Spread the mix evenly on a foil-lined baking sheet.
Place the baking sheet in the smoker and smoke for 60 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even smoking.
Remove the baking sheet from the smoker, salt it generously and let the mix cool completely before launching in the m&m’s and serving.
