This Tandoori Halloumi recipe is a delicious and easy dish that can be made in an air fryer. The halloumi cheese is coated in a flavorful blend of Tandoori seasoning and garlic smoked rapeseed oil half way through cooking. The result is a crispy and flavorful cheese with a hint of smokiness. To balance the flavors, drizzle some hot honey over the halloumi and sprinkle with fresh chives. This recipe is perfect for a quick and flavorful appetizer or snack.
Ingredients
- 250g halloumi cheese
- 2 tbsp Tandoori seasoning
- 2 tbsp Garlic Smoked Rapeseed Oil
- 2 tbsp Hot Honey
- Fresh chives for garnish
Directions
Cut the halloumi cheese into lengthy fries
Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
Place the halloumi slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Air fry for 3-4 minutes until the halloumi starts to turn golden brown and crispy on one side and flip over.
Drizzle the oil, toss them up and then heavily season with tandoori spice before returning to the air fryer for another 2-3 minutes until crispy and delish.
- Remove the halloumi from the air fryer and drizzle with hot honey.
- Garnish with fresh chives.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
