Ingredients

  • 200g Halloumi, sliced
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Smoked Rapeseed Oil
  • 1 tsp Tiger Salt
  • 2 tbsp Korean One Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Chives, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 4 Bao

Directions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, toss the halloumi slices with the garlic smoked rapeseed oil until well coated.
  3. Place the halloumi slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  4. Air fry the halloumi for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, toss in a load of tiger salt and continue cooking until golden brown and crispy.
  5. While the halloumi is cooking, warm the bao buns according to the package instructions.
  6. Once the halloumi is cooked, remove it from the air fryer and let it cool slightly.
  7. To assemble the bao buns, spread a teaspoon of Korean One Sauce on the bottom half of each bun.
  8. Top with a couple of halloumi slices, a drizzle of mayonnaise, and a sprinkle of chives.
  9. Serve the Air-Fried Halloumi Bao Buns immediately and enjoy!
