Glazed & Roasted Tubby Nuts - Quick & Easy Recipe 🌿

January 14, 2018

Fancy some tasty nuts to snack on? Have a mouthful of mine - you can make them easily at home, follow me, I’ll show you the way.

  • 3 cups of mixed nuts - I’ve used cashews, walnuts, almonds, brazils and hazelnuts. (Make sure they’re unsalted and not already roasted).

  • 2 tablespoons tubby dust - you can use more or less dependant on your taste.

  • 1/2 cup of sugar

  • 1/4 cup of water

  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil

  • pinch of sea salt, drizzle of maple syrup to finish

  1. Preheat yo oven to 180 and line a large baking sheet with foil or greaseproof, just use a spray oil to lube it (not vital, you can go in dry).

  2. Combine all nuts in a mixing bowl and add ya  Tubby Dust - give it a big shake up.

  3. Chuck ya sugar, coconut oil and water in a pan and heat it up slowly. Don’t go crazy or it’ll catch fire and burn your house down. You just wanna heat it until the sugar dissolves. Take the pan off the hob and leave it to cool for a minute, give it a stir and you’ll see it thicken slightly.

  4. Pour the sugary glaze all over the nuts and give it a good stir, making sure all of the nuts are coated and break up any clumps.

  5. Spread your nuts all over the baking tray in a single layer, no doubling up! Chuck it in the oven and let it cook for 5 minutes, give them a stir then cook for another minute.

  6. Bring them out and let them cool off, then you can bash up any lumps, sprinkle some extra sea salt, chilli flakes and maybe a drizzle of maple syrup. Boom, life changing.

Make this for your friends as well as your haters, everyone will love you in the end.
