This is my sweet and salty japanese style sauce with a smokey twist. It makes an epic glaze for meats (especially chicken thighs!), tofu and seitan shreds. Use with fried rice, stir fry or just drizzle all over a couple of stuffed bao buns.
Can be used as a salty/sweet dipping sauce or as a cooking sauce - you decide!
Tubbyaki - Japanese Smokey Glaze 150g
Brown Sugar, Soy Sauce (soy, wheat), Distilled Malt Vinegar (barley), Water, Ginger, Garlic, Smoked Rapeseed Oil, Chilli, Onion Powder, Salt, Chipotle Flakes, Xanthan Gum.
